Our Story

With a background in the health sector and acupuncture specializing in cosmetic acupuncture, my passion for the body, skin, and overall well-being has always been a top priority. I understand the struggles of having sensitive skin and the challenges that come with finding the right skincare products. That's why I embarked on a mission to create pure, organic, and simple products to help you to “restart” your canvas with a strong baseline, because I believe less is more.

Hours of research, experimentation and unwavering determination led me to the development of our first product which is our hydrating face oil, crafted by hand infused with love and pride.

The name Nanalumi holds a special meaning for me. Growing up, I shared an abundance of precious moments with my Chinese grandmother. Her beauty embodied simplicity with a flawless complexion, soft cheeks, and smooth lines. The fascination and love for her sparked my appreciation of natural beauty and aging gracefully. My grandmother affectionately called me Nana, and the word "Lumi" originates from the Latin word "lumen," meaning light. Thus, Nanalumi was born, encapsulating my authentic roots from both China and Italy and seamlessly intertwined with the Danish touch of minimalistic sophistication.

I take great pride in using high-quality ingredients, striving for sustainability and keeping things simple and transparent.
